What's so hard for CSR's to see the directv website with no Xtra package? Unless they don't understand the change.

Xtra package is still available for me in the Midwest. Is anyone else seeing the extra credit for months 13-24 under TV package in their cart? I could be saving an additional $10.00 a month after the $36.00 credit for months 1-12, PLUS $10.00 for the advance receiver service for 24 months. I didn't see that available a few days ago when I was comparing costs with Dish.

They are not showing extra because they are offering $5 off for 12 months on ultimate.

No point in selling extra to new subs when ultimate is the same price

The price on xtra and ultimate is the same during the promo but $5 after the promo

You can always downgrade after the promo is over

Right and clear your cookies too. If I login with the browser I use everyday, Xtra is still there.

Not entirely correct. If I put in my old SC zip or my old VA zip, xtra is gone, if I put in my Alabama zip its still there.

Just got a letter from Ellen Filipiak - changes starting December 12 for the Select package..with a $3 increase, (courtesy credited till 2015).

Wow, that is big news - they way I read that they are removing ESPN from the Select package - and raising the price.

I'm going to copy your post to it's own thread as that is news.
