Xbox One, issue with Ready to Install List & External Drive

We decided to retire the old Xbox 360, and just install all the games onto the Xbox One. So in order to have the needed space, I picked up a 4TB external drive for the Xbox One. We set the External as the installation drive, and flawlessly transferred all the games/apps onto the external.

The problem occurred when installed all the Xbox 360 games listed in the "Ready to Install" List, as well as a few Xbox One games (that we didn't install due to the internal drive running low on space).

Typically when I install a game from the "ready to install" list, it disappears from the list upon installation. But all the xbox 360 games, as well as the xbox one games/apps that I installed onto the external driver still show up in the List.

Any ideas as to why? Or is this a known issue with installing to an external drive? All the games/apps that were originally installed to the internal drive, and then moved to the external, are not in the list.

That is not the way it normally works. I have a 2TB external drive set as the main drive on my Xbox One X. This is the same external drive I used on my launch Xbox One and my Xbox One S. With all 3 of those systems, when I install a game it disappears from the ready to install list and moves over to the install list whether it is an Xbox One or 360 game.

That is not the way it normally works. I have a 2TB external drive set as the main drive on my Xbox One X. This is the same external drive I used on my launch Xbox One and my Xbox One S. With all 3 of those systems, when I install a game it disappears from the ready to install list and moves over to the install list whether it is an Xbox One or 360 game.

Thanks for the input. Now to try and figure out why they're staying in the Ready to Install list (I verified that they're installed onto the external drive, and they properly show in the Installed list).
