WVXF or WVGN on Galaxy 16

Has any one been able to receive these on there c-band? If so is the transponder and symbol rate that lyngsat has listed accurate?
According to lyngsat: freq=3950 horz and symbol rate=12296.
I was able to get good quality on freq 3880 (Mexican) so I believe I am on the right bird.
I was interested in the local weather coverage with the hurricane season going on.

numbers are right (I have it at 3947 instead of 3950)

Thanks Iceberg, I will try and play with the skew on c-band box. What do think about their local news? is it worth the effort?

The only thing that's not accurate, is there are 5 channels, instead of 4. The newest one is an RTN channel.

OK I was able to tune in the five channels you mentioned, I had to play with the skew on my pos 10 footer, you guys are great resource for the hobby.

Al, Remember the RTN turns into FOX at 8:00pm :up

There is no local news on it. When they show news, its just a feed from NY (after all, these stations are the NY stations + local commercials)

so the news at 11 is from WABC & WNBC. CBS has all news removed but the CBS Evening News

John I wasn't thinking about that, you're right. So, I guess we can assume the UPN (WSJP) will become either CW or MyTV in a few weeks.

WSJP is going CW..and unless they slap "My" after 10PM like they do in other markets, there won't be a My Network in the Carribean
