WTTW and WYCC PBS Stations out of Chicago in HD?

why can't the chicago stations WTTW and WYCC (PBS) stations out of chicago be broadcasted in HD?I saw in a uplink report that WCIU (IND) was uplinked onto Dish network and i hope they turn it on real soon.If you can help me out i sure would appreciate it very much.
