WTF DISH!? I'm a PCO about 75% of receivers have reverted to Infomercial

I had this same issue over the weekend with one of my heads ends. Half of the receivers went to 101. This is in a locked room with backup power

Pateco, i had no reported issues over the weekend. All today and starting about 10am EST.

The head end you had problems with, 2800's?

come to find out, only certain receivers that were on certain channels were effected. For example Bravo, ABC family, etc

You should check each receiver for that - don't rely to Dish listing.
RandallA posting real time log of all FW updates here, you could grab SW ID and HW ID of your receivers and check there too.

Very true, I did check Randal's thread and nothing was listed for 2800's.

I did get a reply back from Dish Networks National Manager. I won't post all of it however a clip of what they say caused it

"Reports of Model 2800 receivers on certain channels tuning to channel 101 early on the morning of March 31st appear to correlate in time with routine maintenance upgrades on transmission equipment."
