Does anyone own a WS International 9036 with the painted on elevation scale?
The video on their site showing how to assemble it shows a white painted dish with
a elevation scale that is painted on. The dish I have has the same model number
but is painted gray with a stamped in elevation scale. The dish bracket is totally different on
mine as well. According to the video the arrow on the dish bracket is supposed to point down,
but that causes my dish's elevation scale to read 12 - 15 degrees too high. If I point the arrow up
it still lies like a dog but it is much closer. The assembly instructions consisted of a tiny picture of an
assembled dish with labels like " carriage bolt" and "reflector bracket" with no explanation
of how the parts fit together, although it was pretty obvious by looking at the parts.
the dish in the video seems to be made of heavier gauge steel than mine also. $98 doesn't buy much anyway
and I'm happy with it, just wondering about it.
