Huh even though Nexstar wants Media General, Media General still keeps making programming deals
Read that the CW will move from WGSA 35-1 over to WSAV 3-2. WSAV will move their Me/My affiliate from 3-2 to 3-3 and get rid of the weather radar
This is to take effect on Sept 12th (scroll down near the end)

What is unique about WGSA is they have the CW in HD on their -1 and the CW Plus in SD on -2
They run 35-1 basically like an Independent with syndicated fare and then CW is from 8-10.
CW Plus is designed for smaller markets and is programmed 24/7 with syndicated shows
They have ThisTV on -3 and Telemundo on -4
So WGSA, even after losing the CW, can still run the station. They just have 10 hours a week more (8-10 M-f) to fill with syndicated programming. Its a locally owned station so it is possible they "took the money" from the auction. Unknown at this point.
