I have a WS9036 dish & 521 lnb, it works good as a fixed dish but i am tired of
taking all evening to reallign it when channel surfing so I ordered a SG2100 motor.
I have setup bud motors in years past but this is a new adventure, so got a few
questions:
What about lnb scew? The motor may move the dish but what about scew.

Looking at the (angle calc) Nimiq 4 @ 82 is true south for my zip code so is this
when I start the allignment?

Ok heres the big one, where can I find a good tutorial on setting up a motorized Ku offset dish? All my experience in the past was with prime focus C band BUDs.

The manual with the motor should include an elevation/declination chart. The elevation is set on the motor and the declination is set on the dish. At true south the LNB is set at 0º skew and as the motor moves east or west the bend of the motor tube will automatically set the skew of the whole dish.

A plumb pole is the first place to start. True south is the best place to pick up your first sat. After getting that swing as far W & E and pick up sats to make sure your setup is following the arc. Make adjustments as needed.
