-6-ft SAMI mesh prime focus dish
-C/Ku Corotor Feed
-.17 C-Band LNB
-.6 Ku-Band LNB
-Servo motor
-18-inch Superjack actuator
-80' ribbon cable with sensor wire
-ORB-7500 analog satellite receiver with VCRS capability
-Viewsat 2000 Platinum DVB receiver with power scan
-DiSEqC 2x1 switch
-High frequency signal splitter [2]
can i get good results with ku and c-band with this combination or will the ku side be weak within the system?

you might find the KU side a little weak on that system, mesh dishs are not the dish of choice for KU.

6' mesh will be O.K. with newest sat for KU band but not all. You may has signal problem with far side of ku signal. Normally, a 6 footer I would just use for fixed dish.

If you plan on subscribing to some programming, a 6 foot is the absolute minimum. If its for just FTA, then it should work (although a solid dish would work better) :)

I have a solid 6 foot dish fixed (well, I do ghetto move it) and it does work fine for most FTA. But just like people who have a 30" KU dish...most want a bigger dish :)

im not a big fan of the viewsat's as they dont really have powerscan (blindscan).

coolsat 5000 are great ird's, not sure if there still is a deal on for members or not, but it was a great deal !

I love my fortec mercury II :)
