I'm a brand new Voom customers, subscribing mainly for the WorldSport soccer content. Looking at the UEFA Cup schedule, I notice that the Brugge v. Zaragoza game will be shown LIVE Thursday and then immediately again on same-day delay and then replayed again on Friday night in Prime Time.
Of course, I won't be home from work until just about the time the second showing concludes Thursday (like most of the Voom subscribers, I expect). Since there's no Voom DVR, we're all stuck waiting until Friday night to watch the game. Inevitably, I'll find out the results on the web before then.
Why not show the midweek games on tape-delay in primetime the same day they air live? I'd love to see 8pm EST and PST replays on Thursday. Fox Sports World does this for their midweek English Premier League games and I love it. I'd love to see WorldSportHD adopt a similar programming policy, at least until there is a DVR so I can tape the game live and watch it on my own schedule.
Thanks for listening!
