Working on the server

Well... not sure what the problems are... I "Believe" they are on the ISP's side and they are checking things out as they couldnt access the server themselves for a bit. (and it just came back up but is DOG SLOW)

I am also getting errors from the server that I was seeing before everything went to hell, saying CPU STUCK. I have asked the ISP about that as well.

If I can't post updates here, I will post updates to X/Twitter on our SatelliteGuys account.

Grrr.....

Before I got locked out of the system... (I was trying to see why it was so slow the past few days.) I removed the NGINX Web server and moved us back to standard apache. Was trying to figure out where the issue was.

It wasn't until I started getting the CPU Froze alerts that I knew we had a hardware issue.

Once the ISP tells me we are all set I will add in NGINX again to bring us back up to full speed.

Still have not heard a thing from them, so I just shot them an email looking for the status.

They said when they were done they would email me my new VNC login information which they have not done yet. VNC allows me to connect directly to the server just like I was sitting in front of it with a monitor and keyboard.

I knew the server hasn't been running good the past few days and today I was feeling good enough to sit in front of the computer to try figuring out what was going on and solving it. (I haven't posted anything here but for the last 4 days I have been hurting bad with a kidney stone.) So I am happy its working a lot better now. Just unsure on if they are done or not. But its been stable and the CPU load is back to where it should be.

If I didn't try logging in to figure out what was wrong I would have never saw the CPU FROZE messages that the system was sending. So I am glad I felt good enough to log in and see it. (There was NOTHING in the logs showing anything wrong.)

Good luck getting passed that. I rank that right up there at the top of my "worst pain I have ever felt" list.
I have had a few of them over the years. Had to get surgery for one as it was too big to go on its own.

Most of the time I can get rid of them without going to the hospital, or without taking anymore pain medicine then some ibuprofen. Doctors don't know how I can go through the pain, but I guess I built up a tolerance. I won't take any other pain meds or go to the hospital unless the pain is really really bad.

Scott- The only issue I have seen here is with playing YT videos from the site compared to logging in to my YT account. Lots of buffering when played from Satelliteguys. Other than that it seems to have been working fine except when you or someone else is fooling around with updates.

The Youtube links are just embeded Youtube videos, they are not being played or stored in any way on our server.

I recall you saying that but strange there is a consistent difference playing inside the Satelliteguys tab in a browser vs going to YT direct in it's own tab. I can't explain, just able to make the observation.
