Won't remember last channel? DVR 625

I get a new 625 and an annoying thing happens. Every single time I turn off the receiver, it does not remember the last channel I was on. It always defaults to channel 101 when I turn on receiver. I called tech support and they have no answer. This did not happen with my last 625. Am I missing something really easy?

Any ideas? Thanks.

Check & clear the locks, new receivers come "locked".
