Some time ago I got one of these -SMC Networks - SMCWBR14S-N4 Barricade
so I could have wireless in the house. I set it up as a secured network to keep creeps off and it has worked flawlessly until a couple days ago when the power went out for a few minutes during a storm. It was fine that night after the storm, but the next evening I went to get on with my EeePC netbook, and an unnamed unsecured network was all that was showing up. I determined it was my router, so I went through the installation process to set it back up secured, now the netbook will recognize the network, but it won't get past "Acquiring Network Address". I have tried reinstalling the router a couple more times, and the netbook will connect fine if I reset the router to an unsecured status, but after reading horror stories off cops storming peoples homes because some creepy neighbor or other dirtbag used their network to download p*rn, I really don't want an unsecured network for anyone to jump onto. Help!
