wireless joey?

1- joey and hopper already linked
2- installed & setup wifi adapter kit #179048 to joey
3- moved joey to new location, message 1203: looking for hopper R19..., then loooking for hopper "Bedroom1" (the one already linked at first) and keeps that message
4- checked wifi signal and is good, hopper is wired to the same router as the wifi adapter
5- checked diagnostics page, system status, under j linked in green appears

any suggestions to look for to complete the linking by wifi? thanks!

UPDATE: DID a network reset on hopper and all worked perfectly. thanks!!!

How is the hopper connected to the network?

Try resetting the hopper and see if it links up when it restarts.

the hopper is hard wired to the router, but after doing a network reset on the hopper, the joey linked immediately. thanks for your reply!

can i access recordings from 2 hoppers wirelessly linked to only one hopper? or do i need to unlink from one hopper and link to the other? thanks!

Need to link/unlink currently. My WiFi Joey doesn't show the other 2 Hoppers like the MoCA Joey does. I hope Dish will fix it someday
But it's not a huge deal especially since technically WiFi isn't supported.
