Wireless Joey, are they all the same?

I was under the impression that the Joey 4 was faster than the original wireless Joey.
I have an original wireless Joey and it is slow to respond to input and needs to be rebooted (power cord ) about once a week or it stops responding when changing from live to recordings and back.

In my experience, they are faster

I had the wireless joey 4, but did not like the android interface or the lack of caller ID.
I switched to the wireless joey.
I believe the wireless joey 4 was faster
Caller ID works off of the hopper and is shared with the Joey. But that technology is not really supported by Dish any longer because so few people have land lines.

I have voice over IP for my home but I definitely like that both of my Hopper 3 receivers and my Joey 3 client display caller ID. This lets me know whether I need to answer or just ignore a call while watching dish programming. I also have a cell phone but I don't keep it tethered to me while home.

Other than a need to have a dedicated line for emergency health alerts/concerns, why? The insane amount of spam calls is enough in itself to not have one??
I have a VOIP, Ooma, and it doesn't ring most of those spam calls because they are known spam. Backing that up is my Panasonic telephone system that forces an unknown caller to press a certain number before the call will go through. That shuts down all of the computer generated spam calls and most manual dialers don't go through the process. Between the two my landline phone seldom rings. My Dish caller ID does show all of those calls that didn't go through though and my Panasonic phones show "missed call."

I wouldn't want to know. If you don't want to receive them, why would you want to see them?
Not every call that doesn't go through is spam. I have had people I know who are not in my contacts list call and not press the number required. I see that and call them back. Oh, and if necessary add them to my contact list.
