Wineguard 2076 Dish?

i have a Wineguard 2076 Dish and a QPH-031 Curcular/linear lmb. My question is on the dish arm the lmb bracket can move in or out about 1 inch and the lmb can also move about an inch and a half in or out when you mount it. So how do i determine where to lock down the bracket and lmb?

Usually the LNBF should be as far away from the dish as it will go in its holder.

Then use the signal quality meter to get the exact "Sweet Spot"
