Will Mpeg4 come to Canada??

I was just wondering whether or not the MPEG 4 will be used by Canadian providers or if they will just keep MPEG 2?

Is that a possible reason why they are still charging so much for the *C DVR?

I think StarChoice has plans to eventually switch to MPEG-4. They have promoted the fact that both the DSR505 and 530 are ready for the future with an upgradable MPEG-4 slot.
