I am converting my old 30 inch Voom superdish for the 129 Dish bird so I can get more gain here in Seattle. You would think from years of installing big dish I should be confident in the answer to this simple question. Just thought I would ask to be sure.

I only found a single Coax feed microtel Dishpro rectangle style lnbf for the big dish. I am going to feed all three (110-119-129) into my dual DP-34's. Now from looking at these DP-34's I see only 1 input for each satellite up to 3 total satellites. So this would tell me a single feed LNBF should be all I need and a Dual would be not nessassary in my configuration?

Am I correct team?
Thanks!

I will report back on the outcome of this conversion!

Thanks Iceberg! You continue to be my installation expert! Hey if you need any advice for the big BUD dish, let me know! I sold and installed them for years. Still have some parts like a c-ku corotor and stuff lying around you could have.

have you read my thread in the FTA section abouot my C-Band "escapade"? :)
(having a blast working on it but freezing my butt off in the process) :D

No, I will go read it! I had my old Smallear FTA slaved to my Orbitron 10 ft BUD. Loved it. Just recently took my last big dish down and retired and sold my 4DTV. Just got tired of the channels dropping off like flies. Only thing I miss is the raw feeds. I still get some of those on my FTA.

Yea the Microyal LNB will work, but be carefull!

I had a 30 inch Dish that I used one of their LNB's in for a headend and had to replace the LNB 3 times because it was crap!

I finally replaced the 30 inch Dish with a 24 inch Dish and used a DISH Network branded LNB and solved the problem

I was worried abit by that Claude. I have found that off brand LNB's in the Cband world were always trouble and short lived. Already bought it so not much I can do.

I am going to also buy a dishpro I adapter for 8.00 and if this LNB fails I will retrofit the dp LNB do the 30inch dish.
