wildfeeds

All fta receivers are DVB-S and, at minimum, can decode standard mpeg audio and video. Then there is DVB-S HD. usually using H264 video. There is also DVB-S2. DVB-S and DVB-S2 may also use alternate audio stream types, AC3, DTS, Musicam etc. There is also the 4.2.2 video. Confused? yeah, I was totally confused. But now, only slightly. The best answer I can give to your question is: If your receiver is capable of the transmissions format, Yes. If only partially compatible, only the audio, or the video will be presented. If not at all compatible, nothing.

You will need to know the details before you find a wild feed unless you have a blindscan receiver. Also if its a HD wildfeed, your SD receiver (if you have one) wont pick it up, one more reason to have a HD receiver, some wildfeeds are HD only.
