Sounds like he's using USALS and his coordinates are entered wrong. (Unless it really is out of range -- my S9 wouldn't go to 15W from 76W, for example, but later receivers have mostly expanded the range.)

Make sure you have your Latitude and Longitude entered correctly. (and not reversed - Lat for Long & Long for Lat)

Also make sure the east/west and north/south is correct on the lat/long settings for Usals. If they're not right, it'll cause that. What motor are you using?

checked lat and lon they are set right.Deleated all channels still OUT OF RANGE appears when trying to change satellites.

not able to send pictures. i have checked all settings all ok have changed out every thing ck ok with fortec star checks out ok instaled receiver on friday saturday worked good. sunday would only stay on 83 which is my south sat will do one channel after a resetany sat movement from there will say OUT OF RANGE maby this will help

Then either your location longitude (West) or latitude (North) settings is set wrong or the receiver needs a factory reset.
