Hi,

I'm having problems with my satellite TV signal reception. I have a neighbor who has WiFi installed, and apparently this signal is causing interference with my satellite signal.
I cannot see some DirecTV channels, such as MTV, Fox or other premium channels.
Can anyone help me; is their some way to fix this interference?
Thanks.

Mk.

What makes you think that?

Wi-fi operates at 2.4 and 5 GHz. DirecTV operates at 12 GHZ; even the downconverted frequency going to your receiver is sub-2.2 GHz. 'don't see why they would interfere.

My wi-fi has never interfered with my satellite.

Yep.. check for branches, power lines, or a loose dish. Whatever the wind may blow in front of the signal.

Oh, and don't look where the LNBF is pointing, look above it about 45 degrees
