Hi everyone,
I noticed that the VIP222k has also an ethernet port in the back. While I've been using my two VIP222k receivers for the pat few years without connecting any of them to my network (or to the Internet), I was wondering what would be the advantages of attaching an ethernet cable to the receiver.
I've connected one of the receivers to the network and it now has an IP address and can connect to the Internet....So what? What does that do for me or how can I better use the receiver if it is connected to the network or the Internet?
Would welcome anyone's advice/recommendation/opinion. Thanks
