Why no CC on/off button?

Why cannot Dish add CC on/off button functionality to their remote? It is so troublesome to turn them on and off thru the menu. Most other remotes have this button. Is there a way to request Dish to implement this feature?

For non-HD receivers it's pretty easy, just use the functionality of the TV's remote.
But for the HD receivers, menu-8-8-1-select gets old real fast.

Need a good universal remote with macro capability. I have macros programmed on mine to switch between 1080i and 720P.
