I have noticed lately that the word it is indexed as a hyperlink in quite a few posts, but not all the time. Anybody know what is going on? As an example look at #10 in this thread but this is by far not the only one I have noticed.

No not highlighted or clickable for me Explorer, Edge, or Chrome. What happens when you click it?

Something weird is going on with Safari. I bet if you load chrome on your Mac, you will not see it anymore.

Interestingly enough, additional google searching seems to imply this is related to me running AdBlock Plus. If forum software uses ads at times this vigilink does word insertion somehow on the server side. Still reading....

That is what is interesting. First I heard of this the other day, a guy was using Safari on an iPad.

The OP may be right, it may have something to do with adblock.

Is a Lifetime Member ad-free? Or, maybe it is related to what I've seen clicking on some links that bring up a WayFair page.

That is the HTML code from the post that Dudleydog73 referenced with the vglnk class shown on my MacBook Pro and Safari Version 11.0.3 (13604.5.6) running AdBlock.

That is exactly what I'm seeing. As you can see in that HTML code the word it at the end of that sentence is definitely hyperlinked. I guess now we know AdBlock seems to be a common denominator.

It. IT. it. Let's see what happens...

BTW, this does not change whether I enable or disable AdBlock.

Seems to be Safari for now, my Mac doesn't do this with Chrome or Firefox.

And, truly weird, when KE4EST used "the magic word" in his post, it did not highlight. Nor did this post. ?????????

Update: Seems to be it by itself doesn't trigger, but used at the end of a sentence, followed by period, [YODA] appears does it. [/YODA]
