Good job with the comparison chart. I am rather surprised to see that Dish seems to have the price advantage in almost all packages. I like them for their DVR advantage.

Good job with the comparison chart. I am rather surprised to see that Dish seems to have the price advantage in almost all packages. I like them for their DVR advantage.
I switched to Dish for exactly the same reason. The only channels I miss are PBS and CW in hd, and the gospel music channel and the NRB network, but gained the Travel Channel and the MGM and HDNet movie channels. The savings are worth it to me.
They do have a few million fewer subs and some of that difference does have to do with those channels/packages. This difference is even further illustrated with the corporate accountsOh darn! I'm sure Dish is losing sleep over it!
