Why can't Sportcenter Old School be in HD?

What is up with Sportcenter Old School? Just because the broadcasters haven't been on air for 20 years doesn't mean they have to bring out the cameras from that era for us to get the full effect. I think I'll take this week off from watching sportcenter...I'd rather watch ESPNEWS in SD.

Different Set?

That new set was built for HDTV! It is super-techno fabulouso!

I don't believe the "Old School" set is the same....

What about the HD camera, isn't that all they need? Are they incapable of moving it or something?

I don't believe its that simple...

That new set is in a different building with "thousands of miles" of cabling connected to an HD editing facility...

It was the same way when they did that ESPN live in NYC weekend thingy....
