As seen by the penalties earlier this week, the Chevy power teams(RCR, Hendrick, DEI and Gibbs) can do what they like and NASCAR will always give them the benefit of the doubt. If that was a Rousch car passing for the win the yellow would of been out before you can blink an eye.

Hmmmm, I don't think so. I wonder why after a ROUSCH FORD dominated the points title, the system was changed. Maybe not the sole reason, but it sure makes you think. Sure didn't happen after a Hendrick or Gibbs car won the championship.

Also makes you wonder how Kenseth and Kahne loose their crew chiefs for 4 races, for an infraction not even coming close to what Johnson's team did last year, and he got 2.

I thought it was a great last 50 laps. The first 150 I damn near fell asleep but the last 50 were great. Really wanted Mark to win. That would have been great to more or less stick it to Rousch. Really didn't want "Happy" to win.

Why does NASCAR need to book these goofy prerace singers. Kelly Clarkson?? Come on....Damn let Big & Rich sing a couple songs instead

But here is something to chew on...6 years ago same date Sr died. And happy wins.....hmmmmm.......

that was quite the finish. i mean i really hoped mark would win. those close-ups of roush near the end of the race were priceless!

living here, i know how the complexion of the 500 can change without notice (witness smoke's return to the front after his speeding infraction, only to wreck). but i didn't see happy anywhere near the front until, what the 3rd turn of the last lap. he just blew by everyone. mind you, i'm not a harvick fan but...............

I believe he won the next Daytona race after Sr. passed.

I am not much of a sports fan, but I watched the end of todays race and I LOVED IT.

My wife is worried now that I am going to turn into a Nascar fan drive a beat up pick up truck and start drinking beer....

Well I already got the pickup truck.
