Who thinks the 8 TEMP HD Channels...

I am sorry, but then again if the 8 HD Channels are turned on
Friday of this week, I have nothing more to complain about.
What are the odds any of them will make it into the Absolute HD package? Actually I don't really care, Absolute has every chan I want

I would predict that absolute (and turbo) would get QVC, HSN, and Style... with the ability to add Epix ala carte. They could add more; but it is safe to say that any HD package out there would get the two shopping channels. If EPIX is added as a premium then they'll likely let any sub add that (for a cost). Style SD has been sitting in the clear for most HD subs for the past month or so with no mention of it being a free preview, which is why I'm taking that as a hint. As for the other four, anything is possible; but breathing is good, so I'm not holding my breathe.
Another question I have, if Epix is going to be made into a premium or ala carte channel... how long before launch would dish start taking orders for it, announcing subscription price, etc? I know with Red Zone, they announced it a month before it came on line and advertised teh snot out of the sports pack...
So the channel that we were told would come in July has now been pushed to between now and January CES. Okay, 7 months later we "might" get a new hd channel like BBC america.
Well their gonna have to keep adding if they want to contend with directv's 200 hd channels come spring.
Yup I hear Channel 101 in HD (for the CMT concerts) is getting removed tomorrow.
I hear two of the TMP channels will be getting HD programming added to them, but no idea what the 2 channels are or when those channels will be made available.
Versus Free Preview also ends tomorrow too.
I agree with Scott that they will be added by CES. Everyone loves announcements. Maybe Charlie will give us a couple for Christmas as a good gesture. I do think that will probably happen.

with the removal of 101 HD, will that turn back to an extra TMP channel making 9 slots available? (perhaps adding ID HD to that list from earlier)

Come on now use common sense. Dish is in no hurry to add HD since nobody important turned on HD yet. We all know to look good dish will turn on HD next year to win more customers. This year is over. I will bet something closer to february/March for new HD. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN IN DEC. & JAN. for new HD!
