OOOOH!!!! OOOOH !!!! OOOOH!!!

I just had a thought!!!

All you guys can cancel all of your movie channels and just watch the Trailer Channel!!

Heck, you get the best parts with out all of the boring stuff in between!!!
:D:D:D lmao

This whole thread is just too funny. Seems that the folks that are soooo happy to have their new channel were not the folks that wanted to have ST anyway. So, have fun with your "moments", us serious football fans that can not get their favorite team on local are more than content with the ST. I usually like to hear what GoalieBob has to say about things, but this "boasting" is obviously there to fill a void. And don't get me started on Hemi.....
I suppose you guys are big baseball fans that only want to see a game when a home run is scored, or maybe the last out of the game. Me I want to see my Eagles play D, I want it all!
Nice attempt, and anyone that believes that this just about evens up the football coverage on E* and D* you need to take off the rose colored glasses.
i remeber a similar thread about the MLB channel in the dish forums

my guess is D* knows this will cannibalize ST subs. I'd love for them to prove me wrong and offer it, as the leader in HD or some such gobbledygook, but they wont.

I really do not think it will. Sure there will be a few here or there that would want that only, but not as many as most think.

In any case, I do not see D* offering the NFL version since they have their own. They could drop it down to a sub package, but I doubt they do.

Just my opinion of course. I am happy like it is with the deal I have this year

Finally, intelligent life!

I thought it was just way too funny yesterday (timing wise) when all the *E hypsters were posting about their shiny new short-stringed yo-yo toy, but many of us were too busy to post - busy watching the full live game of our choice.

Don't really care that *E "has more HD content" (PPV's mostly that I don't watch anyway) - want SPORTS not recycled chick flicks.

NFL Lite - the new plague.

And don't get me started on Hemi.....
.
What the Hell did I say? Don'y get me started on you. I'm a Big Eagles Fan and I get all my games locally. I have no use for ST. I'm a Yankees fan as well, But I have a real life and can't watch every single Baseball game they play. So whats your problem?

Does this channel show only scores? Does it show defensive stops inside the red zone too?

If it shows only scores, then I think it would be as boring as h*ll. It wouldn't be like watching only the trailer of a movie, but more like a few highlights and then the ending of a movie. There would be no suspense, no drama.

And even if it does show defensive stops, does it tell you that before it shows the clip.

I'm a big baseball fan, watch several games a week. But I find Sports Center baseball highlights of the day clips to be boring (except for some of the great fielding plays), almost never watch them. I love watching a game unfold, pitch by pitch. If MLB came out with some sort of "Homer Zone" channel, I wouldn't pay a dime for it.

tom if you have the nflst you have the D*'s redzone channel which is the exact same thing from what i saw.

Hemi, I was just fooling around. If I recall you are a Buckeyes fan and I am a Penn Stater so I can't resist taking a jab now and then. Maybe I got you confused with Jumbo, can't remember... Hey, if I didnt have ST I would think that the RZ would be a fantastic addition. I am not coming down on those that enjoy it, I am though commenting on those that like to come into a D* forum and tell us that we are all wasting our money because the RZ channel is as good as having ST and we are all fools for wasting our money when they get all this great football for a fraction of the cost. They don't seem to "get" why we have ST and the purpose it serves and they are seemingly just trying to tell themselves that they got the better end of the deal when one has nothing to do with the other.

I don't have NFL:ST. It doesn't interest me.

Since I'm on D*, I don't have Red Zone either, not that I care about it.

I watch Packer games mostly, and now will hope to catch a lot of Vikings games to watch Favre. All Packers games and most Vikings games are aired in my region, so I don't need to pay extra to watch.

I didn't watch a minute of the two Monday Night games last night. Watched a movie instead.

If there was a Packers game on, I wouldn't tune into Red Zone even if I had it. And if there is a Red Sox game on, I wouldn't either (I do sub to MLB:EI).

I am a sports fan, as I watch a lot of baseball, a lot of college football, and all of the Packers/Vikings games as I can. But D* isn't going to make any money off of me for extra NFL offerings.

I'm glad E* subs now have access to RZ and if that type of things makes them happy, then fine. If someone isn't die-hard out-of-market NFL and so hasn't switched to D* to get NFL:ST, then it makes sense for them to like RZ.

ST feels odd to me. I've never had it, and I never have to mess with commercials. I watch what game I want, and when I want. I have so much more power than Red Zone Channel, which I like. I get to watch every Packers play every week :)

I don't think ST is $499.....why was this thread even posted in the D* forum. Just to antagonize? silly, silly....
Whatever it is I wouldn't pay it, but that's me.
I do have D*, doesn't mean I have to agree with their tatics. If they need dishing I dish them. Same with anything else.
