Who fixed AMC2?

I used to get awful signals from AMC2 last year. I really had given up on scanning this satellite. I was running through and decided to blind scan this sucker again. Low and behold...some signals! I figured they would tune in but I let them scan. I turned them and some of them are over 70% with one at 80%. I've never seen this before. I usually seem them barely showing pieces of the video.

Anyone else getting these kind of results were their's was low before? Or did I steal someone else's signal strength?

Sure its AMC2? Getting the test bars on horiz side? If so, maybe you just tweaked something in the past and forgot, that happened to fix it. I don't think they have changed anything on it=its never been one of the strong ones for me either, but usually the feeds they air do come in pretty stable.

Yep... the Echostar slate saying so. I've never been able to get that and it's at 75% quality.

Anytime I ever check out a feed on AMC2 I can never lock it. Every once in a while I could scan something but it was at 30% quality or less...unwatchable. Haven't tweaked a thing on the motorized dish. I didn't have any problems with any of the birds on either side of AMC2, I've always had good signal on the others. So I figured I was out of the footprint. I wonder if they adjusted something on the bird?

same here digi. Had issues with AMC2 for a long time...then right around x-mas the signal kinda went up in some cases.

This spring it has been booming. I've maxed ouott he meter on a couple feeds. And according to the footprint, I'm on the edge of it

On the AMC2 test bar i was getting in the low 40s now i get in the high 60s on my 4dtv ku band side.

About 2 weeks ago, the Echostar slate was missing. I was trying to setup my new 90cm motorized dish ( AMC2 is my true south ) and I was going crazy. Nimiq 2 was coming in like gangbusters a few clicks away, but no AMC2. Next day, though, there it was , blasting away at 100% on my Merc II meter. Maybe they put a couple new NiMh batteries in that baby.

Maybe they did change something to make it better! I'm happy with it too. Back when I only used to watch analog KU I had problems finding the satellite most of the time, with a cheap dish motor on a 5'dish, it never would hit it right(thankyou superjack) But it is better , what little I look at it, it is noticeable.
