Anyone notice WhiteSprings is putting out a booming signal today? About 87-88 on the Coolsat 5000, normally I barely get 62-63 with the 10 footer and CK1.
It wouldn't be Whitesprings TV without it being unbearably blurry! Was the picture quality still lousy at the higher readings? Haven't been too motivated to seek out WhiteSprings.
It's an entertaining channel, worthy of a spot in my channel list. I just don't use it as demo material on my HD monitor
I wonder what the quality is of their original.Hahahaha, that's funny. I do wonder how much more money it costs to broadcast a good picture vs. a bad one.

In one movie, I swear I saw a shadow of a person walking in front of the camera, as if it was taped at a movie theater. LOL

... onto an old VHS tape recorder at 6 hour speed, then stored in the garage for 20 years...... the quality looks like it was recorded off a distant UHF station
Well, MikeInBaja made his first FTA setup for $0.00, so you have no excuse.... White Springs TV ... it's one of my biggest reasons for wanting to sign up for an FTA system.
... I just don't have the money to get an FTA system going right now.

That's what I always assumed, that the source material they were working with was not the greatest quality.
so true. But those movies are what 50-60 years old?
