which wireless AV transmitter?

Okay well here is what I wish to do I own a penthouse and I have my 222k on the second floor
the TV2 Coax goes from up there to my kitchen TV downstairs with no problem

next to the receiver I have a coax that can reach my bedroom but I dont know how to share the TV2 connection to that bedroom along with with the kitchen

I know it will be the same tuner on my bedroom as my kitchen

I bought a pair of 5-2100mhz or something splitters which worked but gave me a snowy picture on both the kitchen TV2 and the bedroom TV2

the UHF remote range is not a problem as the remote works from both TV2 rooms

both cables to the kitchen and bedroom do not exceed 75ft I am sure.

so which high quality splitters or boosters would you recommend for me to feed tv2 to the kitchen and bedroom?

if not, a wireless AV transmitter would work?
the distance is very long for that to work I think and would give me snowy picture


give me your thoughts on this

The splitter cut the video signal by at 'least' 3.5 DB or probably more if it's not high grade but no need to replace it. Just put one of these in front of it.

I.E. TV2 out -> Amp -> Splitter = great picture

well before getting that I am wondering if this meets the specs, says built in 1998 on the back and found it at my old mans house,its an arista 12db amp VHF/FM 50-450mhz kinda old but I am wondering if it will work

also I will be waiting to see if anyone has any other ideas , if not I will buy the one bookworm posted

try the 12db, it should work ok, won't hurt to try it, especially since you already have it.

The one you have should work OK as long as you don't set the VIP TV2 modulator for above channel 60. Even then you're at the top its capabilities. But you can try it and see if it will help. I wouldn't try any channels above 60 as there is normal a cliff that these amps will fall off at.

What do you mean "a pair"? I fail to see why this doesn't work without a distribution amp. The TV2 output is already very hot compared to distant TV stations, which is what your TVs were designed for.

a pair because I was trying to extend the UHF range which isnt needed, only used one behind the receiver to connect the 2 cables

If SD is OK for you, you should try to track down the Belkin RemoteTV system, I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend it. It's too bad that they discontinued it (though I know from review that their HD replacement is as fantastic as this older system). I've had RemoteTV for 3 yrs, works perfectly, and I also set one up at my folks place. Plug-n-play, robust interference checks, great coverage and magnificent PQ.

I am looking at what products on the market would be great for extending range of changing channels if you cannot get the UHF Pro to work. I have with some success in the past tried the trick using splitters on both ends but over too long of a distance with coax it does not work unless you have the sensor of the remote right up at the antenna. What will help it work better than that?
