Hey, Guys-

I'm sure this is a novice question, but how do I know which transponders I am using? I know that I'm using satellites 110, 119 & 129, but not sure which transponders to check for signal. I am having reception issues even on clear days, often resulting in terrible pixilation. Not sure where to look to evaluate.

Thanks!

Hi, I believe if you first select the channel that you are interested in and have it displaying on the TV then hit the menu -> 6-1-1 you will get the dish point screen with the transponder that was in use.

Hope this helps, DC

So can anyone give me an idea if these numbers are reasonable? Ever since the last time we had a tech here to repoint our dish after a bad wind storm, it seems our signal drops very easily. I'm wondering if our dish needs to be realigned?

110-14: 45
110-15: 43
110-16: 48
110-21: 42

119-14: 50
119-15: 53
119-16: 59
119-21: 57

129-17: 26
129-18: 32

129 stinks

The signal/quality level on 129 is awful. You need the dish peaked.
