Which multiswitch input?

I have a triple LNB dish that was installed by a local D* crew. The four lines coming down from the roof go into a 4x8 multiswitch.

I had the local crew come out today to work on a problem with HD, and they rearranged the 4 cables going into the switch, and now I can't get certain channels, like 204 - Headline News, but I can get 202 - CNN.

The incoming cables aren't labeled. My question is - does it make any difference which cable goes into which of the 4 inputs on the switch?

no that want make any differance as long as all are connected.

You may have a bad multi-switch, it almost sounds like you might not be getting odd or even signals - go to the upper 400 channels, and see if you can get all test signals from each satellite. I think it starts at channel 490.
