Have a 1000 for 110&119 and a 500 for 129 had the 500 put up ion Sept to replace a smaller one as 129 wiil not stay in for any length of time call dish and now they want to bring out a 1000+ is this any better to aim at the 129??
Isn't there a larger dish that E* installes for people in the Pacific Northwest? If not you might want to look at a FTA dish and put a E* LNB on it to use as your dish for 129.
Edit: This is the dish I was thinking of. It is a 24" dish where the 500 is a 20" one.
Get a 24" for 129W. I use one from SC pointing thru brush and it resolved all signal issues on all TPs, SD and HD. The one mentioned a few posts back has a "D" shaped LNB holder perfect for snug DN LNB fit.
Just a quick update, dish was here and put up 24" dish Wow signal is running around 45-50 so it's more than double than before, was running around 17-20 this morning before they showed up..and yes I tipped the tech for a job well done..
For 129, I highly recommend the 24" or bigger dish. It makes the signal stronger. It will also make it easy and fast for your receiver to process the signal.
