Which Free DVRs will I get?

I've been with DTV for 10 years and figured it is about time to upgrade my R10 system to HD and MRV. They've offered me 2 Free DVRs and 2yrs HD for FREE (to get second year requires direct bill). I'd like to get the HR24 DVRs but of course they can't tell you which ones you will get. I can wait to upgrade if need be but I'm wondering if there is any way to know when they have run out of older models and are only providing the HR24. I'm not sure if the area you are in makes a difference but I'm in Marietta, GA.

I did a quick froum search and did not find the answer.

Even when the distribution stream is depleted of new <HR24 Plus HD DVR models, they'll still be sending out refurbs of the earlier models.

I have a pet theory that the only way you might influence what you get from DIRECTV is to order Whole Home DVR service.
