I'm going to try to set up DirecTV at my tailgate this year and I think I've decided not to mess with the AT9 dish as I am hardly an expert at aiming a dish and I'm not too worried about getting HD on a 32 inch TV.

I've seen a few dish/tripot setups for sale and I'm wondering if there is any benefit to going with the 18x20 inch 3LNB dish over the basic 18in round dish that will only see the 101 bird.

I'll be tailgating Saturdays with ESPN Gameplan, so I want to make sure I can get those channels, but I'm pretty sure they are on the 101. Obviously I also want the SD versions of my locals, ESPN, ESPN2, RSNs etc.

Will I gain anything from the 3LNB dish other than additional aggrivation from having to align with 3 satellites?

I'd go with the 3LNB, as locals might also be desired, and not all of them are on 101.

Is aiming the 3LNB dish on a tripod reasonably easy?

Also, do I need a multiswitch for the 3LNB that I wouldn't need for the round dish?
