I just got a 1000.2 dish for use in camping and with i go to the section that tells me where to point it there is not a 1000 listed under the dish system, there is a 300, 500 and a super so where do i point it

thanks
jim

I had my 1000.2 installed Friday and I think the installer chose super.

But I'm pretty sure if you choose 500 and get 119 and 110 in, you're likely to have 129 in the mix as well.

I haven't noticed a difference between super and 500 when it comes to measuring signal strength but it will affect the azimuth, elevation, and skew settings. Choose 500 to get a rough setting for your dish and select the 119 satellite. The 119 is inbetween the 110 and the 129 so if you point it at the 119 to find the signal then "peak" the dish out on the 129 satellite, you should be set to go.
