Did I somehow miss this event. I've checked all my history books and can't seem to find any reference to the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor.
So let me get this straight; you're quoting Animal House, the movie as a history source and ignoring established History books? Is that right?
My bet is that E* and D* will eventually tie things up and be even on the HD board when all is said and done. Time is the only real non-fixed issue - who will get there first.
Personally, I'm patient and can wait for E* (or AT&T E*, if that happens) to get there...

Here's a pretty good explanation of why that phrase is so funny for those of you who have not seen Animal House. The character Bluto who says it is an under-achiever who barely says a word the whole movie except for this one tirade that was meant to motivate others to fight back at the school.

Sorry, but most people are not Clairvoyant! Its accepted practice to identify a quote one is using. The original post said nothing about Animal House or the remark being in jest. At that point you’ve got to think, is this more of our school system in action? The bottom line, be clear or pay the price!

Latest word is 3 are suppose to go up in 2008. Hopefully one will be able to go the first q. of 08.

Next satellite up for E* is AMC-14, which they've leased 100% of. It was delayed by the problems with the Proton, but is rumored for early (Feb?) 2008. I don't think anyone knows exactly where it's going to end up though.
And the next E*-owned sat going up is actually Echostar 11. Echostar 12 is the renamed Rainbow 1, which was done after E11 was scheduled.
