Hi all,
I live in block of flats at the top there's a dish, I have no physical access to it (even if I had I couldn't tell what it's pointing to). I have skystar2 pci card on my pc whcih connects to the dish.
Is there a software out there that could tell where my dish is pointing to?
i.e.:
Elevation
Azimuth (true)
Azimuth (magn.)
LNB skew:
Can I also find out satelites in my area?
Thanks very much

Try Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com, put in your coordinates. If you're connected to a dish, can your card do a blind-scan? If not, you might get a close guess as to where the dish points with a compass, then look up some active transponders off a few satellites in that direction and enter them into your card to see if you find anything. That is, IF the lnbf on that dish is working. Aiming with a pci card isn't too easy.

Hey thanks for your post, my dish is pointing to at 28° east I've checked what I should be getting on flysat com and it looks right, shame most channels scrambled...
