Where is "Auto Tune?"

I upgraded from a Dish 522 to a ViP 922. However, one of the features that appears to be gone is to record via the DVR at set intervals and auto tune to a channel at certain time.

Were these features eliminated due to the TiVO lawsuit?

(I did search before I posted.)

One of the options when you set the new/all etc is auto tune.

The 922 doesn't support manual timers. As far as auto tune, go to the program on the guide, click record series instead of record this. You can then choose DVR or Auto Tune, and Record all, only new, and record once, etc.....

Actually you can set manual timers and dish pass timers through the dish remote access via the web. Not very convenient but you can set them.
