I'm looking through the HDNET Movie guide for the next week and I am blown away by the year these movies were made: (seems like yesterday) :)

Diner - 1982 (Steve Gutenberg, Mickey Rourke)
The Philadelphia Experiment - 1984
Mrs. Soffel - 1984 (Diane Keaton, Mel Gibson)
Brewster's Millions - 1985 (Richard Pryor)
Dragnet - 1987 (with Dan Akroyd, damn, was it THAT long ago?)
The Frisco Kid - 1979 (Gene Wilder)

Any other "Old Farts" out there? :p

Yup...Thanks for reminding me about Dragnet, just set a Replay for it.... :) That will be a X1 movie for sure...(and I saw this at the theater)

Funny you should mention that.
I was watching "I was a teenage weirwolf" this weekend, and remembered seeing that at the drive-in.

They showed movies at the Drive-In???? :D For some reason there was something there that steamed the windows. ;)

I remember watching the re-runs of those on TV. As far as a drive-in, I still go to the drive-in once in a while to watch new movies. Talk about a big projection screen :)

I'll date myself with this post.

Drive in - Easy Rider

Theater: Midway, Altered States, Star Wars, Heavy Metal

I like watching HD-NET Movies. Even the OLD, OLD ones look so good.

Here's another old Drive-In Classic: Barbarella w/Jane Fonda. ;)
How about: I Drink Your Blood, I Eat Your Meat? No, not a porn duo, I actually have the limited edition DVD of I Drink Your Blood. It only took 30 years for it to come out.

Hey, why is it every time I see "The Philiadelphia Experiment" in the EPG for HDNet Movies, some other movie that has nothing to do with time travel is on? This morning, instead of TPE, there was some UK thriller with a blind woman.

Because the HD copy that HDNet got was not very good and they opted to not show it. They believe in quality and I applaud them.

Any ideas why locals have terrible PQ?
