361-1 Weather mix and 361-2 Severe Weather channel which seems to be showing WJLA 7 D.C. except when they go to commercials, then they switch back to the Weather channel.
When did they put up the Blizzard channels?

I just noticed these in a customers home but I saw 205, I'll have to look for the 361s as I am on the left coast far away from east coast channels.

They have often put up channels for weather events, hurricanes come to mind.
I however don't remember them putting them up on a local -1 type channel.

Sure enough, just checked at another customers home 361-1 is channel 7 from DC. I'm curious to do some digging to see how that is allowed.
Like I said, they've done that for years with weather emergencies.
One of the hurricanes they had a local channel from in the area of where it was worst, and a day or so later another from a city in the track of it up and down the coast.
I'm in the Chicago area. 205 & 361-1 weather mix shows a Australian Open screen. 361-2 is The Weather Channel.
This is the first time these special channels have been in HD isn't it? I remember the usual hurricane channels are typically SD letterboxed
I think it is the second time, I seem to remember them being HD last time. It is interesting to me that 361-2 reverts to the Weather Channel (362), not Weather Nation (361). I watched the WUSA coverage on 361-2 until the end, and I suspect that it will be back at 11pm after CBS programming.
