Whay dish will most likely lose me soon

AEP + locals + HD- DHA with 811 & 522 + my own 301.

Lack of "compelling" HD and no plans to introduce more, VERY subpar software on the 522 and 811, WAAAy too many bugs on both (522 is horrible when watching a pre recorded show-dropouts and freezes unbearable).
ZERO progress on YES network. PQ steadily going downhill.

My cable company now has MANY more HD channels, an HD PVR (reports are the software is pretty good), YES network and is less $$ per month.

What would keep me from switching?

Where I live, cable is more expensive, considerably more, than Dish, especially when you add a DVR. If what you say is true...why are you still with Dish? Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

Because my 1 year doesn't end until end of Jan begining of Feb.

I will say if I switch, I will REALLY miss Discovery HD & HDNET.
I am wondering if I will be able to keep the HD pack and dump everything else even tho I rent my 811.

discovery hd is on most of the cable systems here in s jersey, although you are still out of luck with hd net and hd net movies
