Trying to re-aim my direcway dish at 72 and its painful. I keep hitting a data tp , apparently since it stores no video, at 12200mhz , its a low SR of about 1552. Can anybody confirm that is on AMC6 or am I looking at something else. It also locks on 12051 H , i think its horiz, also low SR but after full blind scan with the traxis it stores no video channels. I don't think I'm pointed at the right bird!

Just lijke the list

duh! I gotta get my eyes checked! Done boners like this twice today.

turbo, just did a fresh scan, that NBC Mux is the hottest thing for me, right now:

12053 V 6890
v120 a110 p129

bouncing 75-79%, CS6K/Fortec 90 cm

hi turbosat. i just did a new blindscan and i get a tp of 12196 H 1599 on 72W AMC 6 also. It doesn't yield any FTA channels when I scan that TP. So it looks like you're on the right bird. My Pansat missed the peacock channel mux in its blindscan so i had to look manually. I get them with an S/Q of 78/93. There was also some feeds (shhhh!) at 11705 V 2978 S/Q 72/88 vpid 308 apid 256 pcr 8190.

hope that helps :)

Beavs way up in London, thanks, that must be the place. I must have the elevation way off somehow if thats all I'm hitting. I had to grab/run because rolling out 125' of power cord, hauling the tv/receiver out there caused a rainshower and thunderstorm to come up. (the real reason I was playing with the dish anyway-needed some rain,lol).
Maybe I can get back to it Friday, it was only 93-94 here today, a cool wave compared to the last 60+days of 95+ temps. Thanks for all the replies, I know about the usual tps on 72w, but wasn't hitting any of them at all. Probably the elevation was just way low, or high.
Roberto333-thanks for the reply. Can't read it, I'll try to get one of those on-line translaters and convert it.;

Since I have an extra dish sitting around, and I've got more time than anything else, what is usually found on the NBC MUX?

It's so hot and humid down here this time of the year(zip 78336) I hate to start a project only to find out it is a bust viewing wise for me after sinking a pole, mounting the dish, dragging an STB and related equipment outside. - I'm at the age where it takes longer to plan and gather equipment than it sometimes takes to do the job. lol!

Info is certainly appreciated. Thanks!
