As our goal of making SatelliteGuys the Internet's #1 Satellite forum we are always working on bringing you the best Internet's experiance available!
When our new forum software first came out we were quick to jump on many new features such as the Arcade and Members Home Theaters. Over time patches have been placed on top of these programs to make them better and better, because of these patches it has become hard for us to add new features to these programs, that added together with some operations problems in our backend, as well as the fact that over time we have learned ways to do certain things better we have decided on the advice of our forum software provider vBulletin to reinstall our software from scratch.
Tonight we have done a complete reinstall of our software, and with this reinstall done we are still having some problems on the backend. We are in contact with vBulletin and they do not want us to reinstall any features (such as the arcade) until they figure out whats wrong with the backend.
Once vBulletin fixes the backend issues (which should be in the morning) we will reinstall the latest version of all our previous features, and will be adding some additional new features as well.
It may seem like a lot of work, but really it lets us correct a lot of our newbie mistakes, when you are using new software sometimes to get things done you do things the old way, when the new way is much simpler.
For tonight the site will look a little weird, but be assured everything is ok. We have enabled all the features we could without adding stuff to the base code.
Here are some workarounds you can use for tonight to some common used features which are not listed on our navigation bar.
