Whats a good used projector to get

Im looking at getting an lcd projector possibly, a used one off of ebay and wondered what is a good model to go for and what is a good price. Idealy it would have rca, svideo, componant or dvi, and computer connections. Im not looking to go broke so runco's are out of the question but I dont want something from some side street bar's lieasure room either.

Van, I wouldn't buy from Ebay. What is your budget? Would you consider DLP also? You can get a very nice projector new for less than $1,000.

find a X1 ... its a good Pj ... I have one in a dedicated room with a 6000u, a Replay, a panny dvd player and a Pc connected too... it is not HD but it will display what it is capable of in the HD mode via VGA or with an adapter Component... And it does a respectable job on Sd also...

mmmmm, budgets on the cheap unless I can get on a serious out of town over time work job thats coming up, so figure around $500 wich is why Im going for used.
Im a member of lumenlab and have been kicking around the idea of a home built pj since january, its just a matter of time for waiting on the 17 inch precision lens kit is tested and approved.

You can find a Sanyo Z-2 now for around $1,000 and it does true HD at 720P. I get an awesome picture from mine on a 110" home built screen. But do be careful about used units, the bulb may have many hours and most pj's are only good for about 3,000 hours of bulb life.
