What will be the perks to Owning Equipment?

I own an HR10-250 & R10. I pay $4.99 for my R10 (mirroring fee). Will the people who lease equipment have to pay a $4.99 (mirroring fee) plus an additional $4.99 (leasing fee)? If not, why would people want to buy equipment after March 1st. I also heard that the leased receivers will be covered if they need repair or to be replaced under the leasing fee.

actually.... the mirroring fee will just be named "leasing fee". I do believe....

but no, no matter what the name is you wont be charged double. And yes, all replacements will be handled at no charge minus s&h. but there is still a charge for service calls if its a problem with the installation
