I've recently upgraded to the 942 (I love it), so I've deactivated the 811. Dish tells me they've sent a box for me to return the receiver. I assume I'll need to include the remote, but am I also required to return the cables and manual, etc???
when I returned my 811 all I returned was the Reciever and the remote, no cables and no books, they didnt have a problem with it, all they are after is the reciever so they can recondition it and send it out to people like me who want to lease it
Keep the remote too? Geesh, I should just rent a couple things, then send them back a couple weeks later and sell the remote or something. Man, dish sure is lax on this kinda stuff. But I guess since the remote is gonna take some wear and tear, I can see their point, no use trying to refurb them.
