For some reason our upstairs TV is not receiving any inputs....I have the 811 receiver. When I do the switch test no sattellites or polarities appear in the box and Installed Switch Model is unknown....any clue?

alright, I have it working now but now it does not offer any HD channels anynore

Hopefully E* didn't delete them by accident or you won't be able to get them back unless you sub to the new HDpak$.

Well I got it working by cycling power but now it can not see the sattelite again....any ideas???

First I would do a couple front panel resets when receiver is on, hold power button on front panel down untill receiver shuts off; receiver will come back on in a few seconds, reaquire signal, do another program guide download. If this does not solve it, try unplugging the power cord for about 20 mins.

Un-screw the coax at the back, do a switch test and then put it back on and do another one. If that don't work, check all your connections from the dish, switches, Gnd Block, etc for the receiver and make sure you don't have a bad one. Check cable while your at it. Make sure fido didn't start teething.
